"That Something More" - Documentary Trailer 2019.

"Quel qualcosa in più" is a documentary that talks about the relationship between doctors and patients starting from the personal experience of Nicole Smith, a patient who lived in hospital for a long time after a car accident. During this stay she had the opportunity to come into contact with the medical world and observe how communication was "not treated". In 2017, together with the director Davide Basso, she began to investigate the numerous aspects regarding this topic to look for the points of union between doctors and patients.

Lara Peviani: "Near-Death Experience documentary".

"NDE: a collection of testimonies" is a documentary made by Lara Peviani on the topic of NDEs ("Near-Death Experience"). It contains interviews conducted in various parts of Italy with direct or indirect witnesses of these experiences on the border between life and death. The documentary aims to open a window on these interesting phenomena, of which most people have a very superficial knowledge and which are often relegated in common opinion to the realm of the mystical or magical. Instead, it is a topic that has interested philosophers, theologians, psychoanalysts over the centuries and still offers a starting point for heated debate among scientists, especially regarding consciousness and its possible survival beyond the death of the physical body.

Gioacchino Pagliaro: "Distance healing".

There is a lot of scientific evidence that testifies to the phenomenon of connection between two brains without signals. I wonder then: is it possible to intervene remotely on patients affected by serious organic pathologies, enough to cure them? Gioacchino Pagliaro, Director of the Department of Hospital Psychology at Bellaria in Bologna, gives us an affirmative answer, at least as far as an improvement in the quality of life of cancer patients is concerned.

Dr. Carlo Cipolla: "Life beyond life. Believe, hope, think".

A night in intensive care, two women in cardiac arrest a few hours apart, from different social backgrounds, different cultures, one religious and one secular, two women who couldn't be more different. Dr. Carlo Cipolla, Director of the Cardiology Division at IEO in Milan, tells us what happened that night and what the two women told him about a year later about what they felt while they were in cardiac arrest, a very similar experience in their stories of life after life, in that tunnel of light that many have testified to having seen and that remains one of the most fascinating mysteries of the human mind (or for those who are believers, the confirmation that there is an "after") but which nevertheless excites and makes one think.
