TERZANI PRIZE

In 2008, the Tonglen Association, represented by Daniela Muggia, and the Parma University Hospital Trust were awarded the National Prize for the Humanization of Medicine, named in memory of Tiziano Terzani, for their research work on Empathic Accompaniment.

The Terzani Prize has established itself on the national scene as one of the most important initiatives dedicated to the theme of Medical Humanities.

The significance of the Award is demonstrated by the quality of the projects presented: a wealth of ideas and practical achievements that constitute a privileged observatory on the current situation of practices of humanization of care in Italy.
